An alumnus of the Saline Fiddlers, BRAD KUYKENDALL is an emerging violinist and mandolinist in the Michigan music scene. Sought after as a performer, composer, arranger, and recording artist, Brad was a finalist in the 2012 National ASTA Eclectic Strings Competition. His experience in different styles of music includes Celtic, Folk, Jazz, Country and Classical music.
As a member of the Saline Fiddlers, Brad traveled across the United States, and was a part of a two-week tour to Germany. Since graduating, music has taken him to festivals and music academies in the Czech Republic and England, as well as numerous places across the United States.
Brad is currently studying with Stephen Shipps, pursing a Bachelors Degree in Violin Performance at the University of Michigan. He has had lessons with Rodney Friend, Joan Kwuon, Ellen Rowe and Jeremy Kittel, and has played in masterclasses for Christian Howes, Geri Allen and Robert Hurst.
