Artistic Director Jimmy Whitman

JIMMY WHITMAN was born in Lansing and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Instrumental Music Education, graduating from Pioneer and Community High School in 2003.

Jimmy works with a plethora of non-profit and community-based organizations such as the Neutral Zone, 5th Corner, Youth Arts Alliance and Saline Community Ed. A producer, engineer, composer, arranger, educator and lover of all things music, Jimmy has performed hundreds of times with an eclectic number of groups and styles. He is driven by a passion to share the joy he has found in music with young players. He is grateful for the opportunity to help continue the tradition of Fiddle music in Saline, MI.
